ABILITY LEVEL DEFINITIONS:
Beginner - never taken any lessons or taken some within the past few years. Working on making good contact with the ball; not yet able to hit shots consistently over the net off a pro's feed
Advanced Beginner - taken lessons regularly for at least few years. Able to hit shots over the net consistently utilizing good fundamental form. High level advanced beginners are able to serve and sustain a short rally (with some degree of control of shot placement)
Intermediate - taken lessons for many years, practice and play regularly on their own. Able to serve, rally, play points control shot direction, placement and spin.
Advanced - Varsity-level or locally competitive players with many years of lessons and competitive play experience. Able to formulate and execute strategies and tactics during match play.

summer camp 2024 with coach gene molina
The Knoll Indoor Tennis Club will be running its usual summer camp schedule that has been running for over 17 years with coach Gene Molina. Our 2024 Summer Camp will be run on a week-to-week basis starting June 24 through August 16 for a total of 8 weeks. The camp will run Monday through Friday except for 4th of July week which will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. Monday through Thursday will be from 9am-1pm which will consist of various drills and games to improve skills and experience. Friday is all about tournament competition to build experience with competitive situations. The camp will be run by Gene Molina, certified U.S.P.T.A teaching professional for 20 years.

Day and Time Schedule: Monday - Friday
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Warm up, task based short court drills, short court shot specific drills, Competitive games
10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Groundstroke development, task based forehand and backhand drills, Competitive games
11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Singles and doubles groundstroke games, Serve and return practice
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Competitive point play with serving and returning, approach shot, volley and overhead drill/competition
Friday 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. Tournament based match play. Players get to play in a tournament to experience match play in a true competitive situation with single elimination.
Camp Cost: $500 per student per week.

Length of Season ~ 2023 - 2024:
The purchase of contract time allows members to enjoy a full 34 weeks of play beginning on Thursday, September 7, 2023, ending Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Thanksgiving day and period from December 18, 2023 through January 1, 2024 are not part of this 34 week season. However, these days will be available to you on an open time basis should you wish to play during the holiday season. In addition to seasonal rates for the reserved time, each participant is required to pay an annual membership fee.
Membership Privileges:
- Option to reserve seasonal time.
- Use of clubhouse facilities at all times.
- Discounted open time play.
- Eligibility for Club Tournaments and League Play.
