ABILITY LEVEL DEFINITIONS:
Beginner - never taken any lessons or taken some within the past few years. Working on making good contact with the ball; not yet able to hit shots consistently over the net off a pro's feed
Advanced Beginner - taken lessons regularly for at least few years and/or able to hit shots over the net consistently utilizing good fundamental form. High level advanced beginners are able to serve and sustain a short rally (with some degree of control of shot placement)
Intermediate - taken lessons for many years, practice and play regularly on their own. Able to serve, rally, play points control shot direction, placement and spin.
Advanced - Varsity-level or locally competitive players with many years of lessons and competitive play experience. Able to formulate and execute strategies and tactics during match play.

SUMMER CAMP 2025! Featuring Coaches Gene Molina and Justin Cook!
The Knoll Indoor Tennis Club will be running its annual summer camp - run for over 18 years with coach Gene Molina. We are happy to announce that we will be welcoming back coach Justin Cook! Our 2025 Summer Camp will be run on a week-to-week basis starting June 23 through August 15 for a total of 8 weeks. The camp will run Monday through Friday, except for 4th of July week which will be Monday -Thursday, as 4th of July is on Friday of that week. Monday through Thursday will be full days from 9am-3pm. Friday is a half day which is all about tournament competition to build experience with competitive situations from 12pm - 3pm. The camp will be run by full time Knoll Teaching Pros Gene Molina, certified U.S.P.T.A teaching professional for 20 years, and Justin Cook, certified U.S.P.T.A. teaching professional for 18 years.
We have made some new changes that we hope our players will enjoy! Starting this year we have added some new activities to our afternoons from 1 - 3 p.m. We will now offer video games! This will be featured between 1 - 2 p.m. We hope to have our players enjoy some competitive video games while they are also enjoying each other's company. We hope to have fun as well as learn teamwork and problemsolving skills while they play. There will be access to playing tennis as well during this time, in case players decide they would like to play tennis instead of video games. From 2 - 3 p.m. we will be offering tennis match play games, as well as on court games like dodgeball and other games similar to their gym sessions at school including pickleball.

- 4 well-maintained blue indoor courts. Always air-conditioned!
- Skill levels from beginner to advanced, ages 9 - 18
- Enthusiastic, attentive staff that cares about students making great progress while they have fun!
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m:
9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Warm up, task based short court drills, short court shot specific drills,competitive games
10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Groundstroke development, task based forehand and backhand drills,competitive games
11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Singles and doubles groundstroke games, Serve and return practice
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch (Lunch will NOT be provided. Our cooking skills are not up topar with our coaching skills)
1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Video Games! Players will have access to video game console gamingas well as some board games and other varieties of fun games. There will be access tothe tennis courts during this time as well if players decide they want to play tennis.
2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Tennis competition will continue as well as access to games withcompetitive aspects such as dodgeball and pickleball.Competitive point play with serving and returning, approach shot, volley and overheaddrill/competition
Friday 12 p.m. - 3 p.m: Tournament based match play. Players get to play in atournament to experience match play in a true competitive situation.

Length of Season ~ 2024 - 2025:
The purchase of contract time allows members to enjoy a full 34 weeks of play beginning on Thursday, September 5, 2024, ending Wednesday, May 7, 2024. Thanksgiving day and period from December 16, 2024 through January 1, 2025 are not part of this 34 week season. However, these days will be available to you on an open time basis should you wish to play during the holiday season. In addition to seasonal rates for the reserved time, each participant is required to pay an annual membership fee.
